Sunfish Pair Painted Original 1988
This is a nice composition, a pair of Bluegill Sunfish swimming along looking for food. Both quite colorful in their own way, whether you prefer the orange chest of the male or the yellow chest of the female. This piece was donated as an auction piece for the 1st ever Northern Nationals carving competition in Minneapolis Minnesota. Each fish was around 5 in length, carved out of Tupelo. I believe that they went for $400 during the auction.
